The Design Brief

Our clients wanted to renovate their beach bach to take full advantage of their expansive sea views and to add larger decking, an extra bedroom and more living space. By converting the downstairs rumpus room into two bedrooms (including a master with en suite), we were able to open up the upstairs layout for a light and open living area. While the floor area was only marginally increased, the illusion of having gained much more space was achieved by careful redesign of the layout together with new joinery allowing more light and connection to the outside.
